Winter-Time Grooming

Should you get your dog groomed during the winter? The answer is a big YES!

Many people think that if they get their dog groomed in the winter, it must be done short and the dog will get cold. Not true.

We can give your dog any length of haircut you want. It does not need to be as short as you do in the summer. Also, nails will still grow, and ears will still need to be cleaned, hair will still need to be brushed!

We do NOT want your pet to go all winter without a haircut and have to get a "smoothie" (very short cut) in the spring due to matting.

Also, if your pet wears a sweater regularly (and how cute are doggie sweaters!!), please make sure to take off the sweater nightly and brush him/her. We all know how sweaters can generate static, and so can hair. Combine the two and not take it off for a few weeks. Imagine the results. Not pretty!

Make your pup's winter appointment today! (and remember, our January Special features peppermint paw cream and fleece bandannas)
